Zoned heating and cooling with smart thermostats, plus a mini-split in two rooms.

Smart thermostats

Three Ecobee smart thermostats run the main zones:

Main level: thermostat between the front entry and the living room.
Basement (Zone 1): basement living room and Bedroom 3 (the double-queen).
Basement apartment (Zone 2): Bedrooms 4 and 5.

Setting the temperature

They auto-heat to about 68°F and cool to about 74°F depending on the season. Adjust to whatever's comfortable.

Don't set the system below 68°F; it can freeze the A/C lines and cause a failure. Setting it far past your target won't heat or cool any faster, so just set it and relax.

Mini-splits

The game room and exercise room each have their own mini-split, run with its own remote. Please turn it off when the room is empty.
