FAQ

Quick answers to the things guests ask most.

How does pool heating work?

There's a daily fee to heat the pool ($150/day October–March, $100/day April–September), with at least 3 days' notice before arrival and a 3-day minimum (best between October 1 and April 30). It's set to 85°F when heated, though temperatures depend on the weather and aren't guaranteed. The spa is heated at no extra charge.

Can I check in early or check out late?

Sometimes, depending on the cleaning schedule. Message the host to ask. The rate is $50/hour.

How do I get in?

A smart keypad lock on the garage man door by the main entrance. Your unique code arrives close to your reservation start and only works during your stay.

Are pets allowed?

Some dogs, at the host's discretion (no cats); $100 per pet, per stay. Message the host before booking with a photo. Pets aren't allowed on beds, furniture, in the pool, in the showers, or in the carpeted bunk room, and must be supervised or kenneled. You're responsible for bagging and removing all waste; extra cleaning for accidents and any damage caused by pets are billed to you. (The booking platform only collects the first pet's fee; additional pets are billed separately.)

Is cleaning included?

Yes, cleaning before and after your stay is included in the booking. Additional cleanings during your stay can be arranged with the host for a fee.

Can I ship packages to the house?

At your own risk. The host can't forward, recover, or store packages and isn't responsible for anything lost, stolen, or damaged.

Is there an EV charger?

Yes, a 50-amp ChargePoint J1772 (Type 1). It works with virtually all non-Tesla EVs (Tesla drivers need a J1772 adapter) and charges about 25–35 miles per hour. Free except 4–7 PM, when it's $7/hour.

Will anyone need to come by during my stay?

Occasionally. Maintenance for pest control, spa service, or filter changes may come during normal business hours. They'll knock and ring the doorbell before entering.

Are there security cameras?

Exterior only, for safety and liability. They're not monitored, and there are none inside.
