Sedona is a top off-road destination, and the draw is the street-legal setup: rent a side-by-side, drive it on the paved roads straight to the trailheads, and skip the trailer. A few rules keep it legal and low-impact. Out-of-state vehicles need a temporary Arizona OHV decal (rentals already have one). Stay on the trail to protect the cryptobiotic soil, which means the designated 4x4 forest roads only. And keep the speed and noise down through the residential areas.
